Launch Tree videos

Undoubtedly you should have heard of Launch Tree and the big buzz associated with it. If not, you probably should check your email inbox since May 12th, 2009. It launched at 12 noon ET.

During the pre-launch, they (Anik Singal and Mike Filsaime) released video interviews of some of the IM’s biggest names. These people included Frank Kern, Russell Brunson,  Andy Jenkins, and Brian Johnson. Brian Johnson is Rich Schefren’s right hand man. You should know who the other people are. If not, just google their name!

Last year, Frank Kern (Mass Control), Andy Jenkins (StomperNet Formula Five), Mike Filsaime (BFM 2.0 and newsletter) were a buzz. And the PPC Classroom 2.0 relaunch with Anik Singal that just finished could months ago were based on some of the launch formulas that were used in the Launch Tree.

If you have missed some of the pre-launch videos, here they are! I don’t know how long they will be available. I think they probably will take them down as soon as the launch is over with. They are only allowing limited numbers of people into their low priced program.

If you have ever thought about how these launches were pulled off, then definitely invest in these program. Only $77! Can’t beat that while you get the chance to learn everything from how these were planned and pulled off such big amounts in such short period of time.

Sure, they needed lots of JV partners to do this. But, hey maybe they will reveal some of the ins and outs of getting JVs. Some of the mindmaps alone would worth the price. Remember, just anyone of these launches alone would pull in millions!

I have just downloaded and read this report by PPC Classroom, 5 deadly affiliate mistakes.

All I can say is go and download it! It’s a 33 page quick read. It took me just 20 minutes and I even posted a comment in their blog all within 20 minutes.

As you probably have guessed, this is an affiliate promotion.

I originally signed up with PPCClassroom 2.0 last year. To be totally honest, I haven’t even finished the original 9 modules! I think I’ve only finished the first module.

My thinking up to this point was to try to go the “free” route using web 2.0 tactics. I have mostly used blogging as a platform. I have also tried Squidoo. But to be honest, I am not getting too good of repeating visitors.

About a month ago, I started to incorporate articles in my posts. I started to see some improvements in visitors. But still not too good.

In order to fully “made it” in affiliate marketing, I believe you have to incorporate all traffic souces at your disposal. And that include free and paid sources.

Free traffic sources include web 2.0, article marketing, blog and ping.

Paid traffic sources would be the PPC traffic., newsletter, PR, etc.. You start a PPC campaign and for each visitor who clicked on your ad, you pay. It’s a simply system.

Of course, like everything else, the more competition there is, the more you have to be better in your advertising. This is same for free and paid sources.

Having tried some of the free traffic sources, I would think that paid traffic has its advantages. Granted, I haven’t tried all of the free sources. Article marketing, for example, is one that I have yet to do.

It’s a matter of trading time and money. If you are a newbie marketer and with limited resources, you might want to try the organic or free traffic sources’ route. With this, you have to position yourself as a brand and an expert. You have to get people to talk about you and your site. Only then would you able to get repeat visitors and then customers.

Fast trek to PPC and it would only take 10-20 minutes for an ad in Adwords to show up in Google paid listings. Adwords is simply the fastest in terms of speed to market. There are others like Yahoo!, MSN, Miva, and other smaller PPC engines. But Google Adwords is still the best.

So if you are looking for getting more traffic to your site and more eye balls for your offer, PPC would be a great way to go.

Sure, you have to manage your campaigns. But you have to spend money to earn money. As long as you follow simple directions and manage your compaigns, you shold start to see results.

PPC Classroom 2.0 is relaunching on Feb. 24th, 2009. They are looking for adding only 1000  members. On the 19th of Febrary, 2009, they are holding a free webinar to show you how to find great affiliate products to promote. I have seen their free shows and would recommend wholeheartedly that you go, watch, and learn. They are that informative.

One other thing, PPC Classroom offers you a chance to have two niche researched monthly for you. They even offer camtasia videos on these niches. It’s a great way to see how they do their research and evaluating programs. And there’s a paid forum too where you can go ask questions.

On the other hand, PPC or pay traffic is very targeted traffic. Sure, you have to pay for it… But you see immediate traffic, sometimes after only 10 minutes in activating your compaign. Some of the risks include losing your shirts due to the now infamous Google Slap. However there are ways to around that. If you keep your quality score up on your landing page and your content targeted to the keywords, you will see immediate results! And sometimes you spent only a little bit of money.

I just found this site through Anik Singal, who is the owner. Anik has a populate site called Affiliate Classroom.

Even though AffSphere is currently in Beta stage, it has a lot of potential. If you have attempted Internet Marketing, you would have been told that submitting articles to article directories is the oldest and still the preferred route by most internet marketers. Gurus like Tim Gorman and Willie Crawford still swore by this. Not only are you getting back links, you are building your brand and your name in the process. It’s free, although you pay with your time…

You should know that there’s a down side to article submission to article directories: namely that affiliate links are frowned upon! You submission will be rejected!

Not so with AffSphere. According to Anik Singal, he developed AffSphere as the most affiliate friendly directory around. You can put affiliate links directly in your articles. However, do know that it is not recommended as you might not get much article syndication from this.

Have you heard about the power of live events? Well, I’ve just signed up to the Master Seminar event in Chicago hosted by Ross Goldberg. Ross Goldberg has a few products out there in the forms of Traffic and Social Marketing.

I went to my first seminar back in May 17th to 18th in Atlanta, GA with Keith Wellman’s Million Dollar March live event – see my earlier posts. I love learning and this new event would be great to get to.

Master Seminar

I love going to live events when I can.  There is nothing like meeting new friends, building new relationships and arranging joint venture deals.

I have to confess that even though I have met a few people at that last event, I didn’t do much networking. So my goal at this new one would be to take advantage of the networking night, which is Saturday the 19th, and meet as many people as I can. Really, in order to get your business started or to take it to a whole new level, you need to add influental people to your circle of connections. What better way to do that than at a seminar where everyone’s doing networking?! And they are putting an extra night just for that purpose? Nice!

The power is in meeting people face to face. 

You get a sense for who and what they are immediately without even having to talk to them.

As I have learned from Larry Bannet, the Connector, in Atlanta, just introduce yourself at these events to as many people as you possibly can. Learn what each has to offer. And offer to help in anyway shape and form. You will be amazed at the JV opportunities.

You simply can’t do that via Email…

Master Seminar

Today, I just finished the first day of the seminar – which is being held in Atlanta, GA and is priced at little less than a $1000. I got in free though. Originally, I bought Keith Wellman’s product and was supposed to attend the Friday May 16th event as well. However, due to their confusing messages, I didn’t made it to that extra session meant only for the Million Dollar March (MDM) purchasers, which I wasn’t but I did purchased a down sale of the MDM. But Keith Wellman said he would provide recorded versions for members; good for him…

Yesterday, the lineup was pretty good. We started with Larry Benet (the Connector) . He offerred excellent resources such as how to best get to the grace of the people you wish to contact – mostly for the purpose of future JVs. We all know how powerful JVs are, don’t we? Personally I am a beginner (a newbie) so I can’t comment enough on this; however after attended this event, I have a wealth of information to which to act upon… Part of the failures of newbies are due to this, I will comment on future posts.

Next we have Sean Roach. He also gave us great information on how to be an entrepreneur and creating virtual real estate – web sites that make money on auto-pilot. Then Matt Bacak is up. For a guy who makes millions of dollars online, he is a pretty lay back guy. He even wear T-shirt and a pair of short pants! I love that kind of life style! Besides revealing the method to how he made millions – the 7 Golden Keys; he also revealed his love for his family and his life style. It is a dream of any entrepreneur. He bought or is in the process of buying lands just for his kids to play on. Some of those properties included a large cave and a nice sized water fall; which he said he fell on and have scars to show for! And he spent time with his kids!

Then Anik Singal of Affiliate Classroom fame is next. He spent the next hour giving great content. He spoke on Affiliate Marketing. He revealed some test accounts where he made $5000 per month. And the techniques he showed is so easy that anyone can replicate! And would you believe he will be only 25 next month!? You should check out Affiliate Classroom and the monthly magazine that he is providing; great insights into the Information Marketing and Affiliate marketing industry.

The final speaker of the night is none other than Keith Wellman’s dad – Jeff Wellman. He is the oldest of yesterday’s speakers. But I love his presentation. Would you believe he started in 2007!? And he already made 6-figure launches. The thing that resonanted on me was what he said about getting out of your “comfort zone”. I can attribute my lack of success to this one point. It is fear that kept me in my “comfort zone” for all this time – the failure mentality which we all fall prey to. Often times, people became too comfortable in their jobs and their lives that they won’t change even if change meant a better life. I am living testament of this. I am currently stuck in a job that pays ok, but I have to work on weekends just to make ends met… I don’t have a life and have no time for family. I love Matt Bacak’s life style! what a “comfort zone”, huh? Nice going Jeff Wellman!

All in all, yesterday was a very good day. I networked with a few of the attendees. Some people, like me, have no direction; and is looking for guidence. Others, like this one guy, said he launched his product on Friday and has already made $5000! Wow! And his stuffs are not even in information marketing, it is a product for health and martial arts. I will share more information on this in future posts as I get more information. You see, live events are places for great networking!

I am excited and can’t wait for what’s coming today! We have a great lineup – take Brad Fallon, Ken McArthur for size! Go Million Dollar March!
