For those of you who have experienced Ross Goldberg’s last event back last year, you know how useful they were. The guests that were on that virtual seminar held nothing back. They offerred great information. And get this, it’s not a pitch fest like other seminars. Yes, they do offer continued education options, but they won’t force these on you.

And they are recorded too so that you can listen to them afterwards for up to a week or two.

It’s also a networking event too. During the sessions, you can chat away with other attendees. I like this option. Due to the time it was held (weekdays), I can list and pay attention to the chat window. And then Ross also encourages people to network with everyone. He also encourages people to break into small networking groups.

Annoncing possibly the first internet seminar that has gone virtal!

Ok, it may not be the frist but it is close. I have seen quite a few that were streamed live from the events. However, they were streanmed live! So by all purposes, these were not virtual…

Ross Goldberg, is holding his Internet Masters Seminar in the comfort of your living room or bed room, for that matters. This event will last for one week with about two presenters each day. They will be recorded by the way; so no need to be present. We all have busy lives!

But if you could, you would want to be listening live. Ross has promised this event to be not only educational, but also a networking event as well. How about Yanik Siliver? Boy, I have never attended an event with Yanik in it yet. But I have listened to plenty of his material.

Ray Edwards will be there. He is one of the top copywriters out there right now.

New comers such as Carrie “The barefoot executive” Wilkerson will be there too to share her souped up list building tactics. I had the chance to listen to Carrie at Ken McArthur’s Impact Bootcamp, she is so knowledgeable! And wait until you hear how she got started and in a matter of months has build a nice following; and to guru status.

So, this shall be a nice event for the coming week. It will be held from December 5th and lasts a week. So, not much time left until the event.

I’ve just got home from a live 2 days event in Long Island, NYC. Originally, this started as Two Sides of Traffic: PPC and social marketing. Then to Three Sides of Traffic. Finally, there was Four Sides of Traffic. The fourth edition includes a look at the old and tried method of offline marketing – Direct Mail; which was the form of marketing done before there was Internet Marketing.

The presenters included Howie Schwartz, Simon Leung, Ross Goldberg, Lee and Robin Collins. This event was held to benefit a non-profit charity.

I was simply blown away by the amount of contents these guys/gals provided.

Ross Goldberg presented the best ways of utilizing the latest craze – social media and social bookmarking.

Simon Leung gave insider’s view inside how best to improve Google Adwords quality score.

Howie Schwartz is the master at simplifying and evaluating to see if a niche is profitable and how best to position your content to your customers.

And Lee and Robin Collins provided an overview of their Hybrid Marketing System which is a marriage of marketing online and offline.

There’s also two live ustream.tv feeds of approximately 40 minutes each day of the two days event.

After 3 days in Chicago, I am glad I’m home. I had to rush off before the end of Sunday’s final presenter, Gina Greves-the JV Queen, at 4:20pm to get to the airport for a 7PM flight. Of course, the flight was delayed due to weather back home in Boston for half an hour. Nothing in life is ever perfect… Finally boarded the plane and left before 8PM. The plane arrived in Boston at 11PM and then didn’t get to the tarmac until 11:29! I hate delays…

The bright notes of the weekend are two folds. First, the speaker lineups for this event, The Master’s Seminar, was just amazing! You have some of the old timers and some of the newer and up-coming marketers. The seminar included such names as Alan Bechtold, Joel Comm, Ken McArthur, Frank Sousa, Willie Crawford, Donna Fox, Tracy Repchuk, The JV Queen, Kevin Nations, Anik Singal and many others.

Then the newer presenters, most of whom were speakers for the first time, included Erik Stafford, Eric Farewell, Simon Leung, and Bobtheteacher (Bob Jenkins). I believe Eric Farewell is the youngest of all the speakers. Alan Bechtold and Joel Comm gave two of the most powerful presention of the seminar.

Also, I was impressed by Tracy Repchuk as she rose from relatively unknown to be on rank with the top internet marketers. She gave me couple of very helpful advices.

The amount of tweets these presenters were doing must be one of the reasons why twitter is overwhelmed these last couple of days, including today! My twitter acount is http://twitter.com/jeffreyyung, by the way.

On the first night, there was a bonus event on Friday. It was a session, taped, between Joel Comm(the AdSense God) and Simon Leung(the Google Adwords guru, who’s the Google ex-employee who helped developed the Adwords program). They have an interactive session included fielding questions from the attendees. It’s informative.

The second bright note of this seminar was that it was mean to be a networking event from the start. Yes, the speakers’ main purpose was to get buyers and help out the host, Ross Golgberg, but everybody was there for the networking and JV aspect of this event. Not only did we get the chance to network between each speakers, between lunch and dinner, but there was a networking night on Saturday dedicated just for this purpose. And all of the speakers were available to answer any questions and also at the networking event. I think all events should have this…

I took plenty of notes. Of course, you have to do something with what you’ve learned in these types of events. If you don’t put these knowledge into actionable plans, nothing would result. Basically, all the knowledge in the world would be nil if you don’t use them. So, I plan to refocus my blog and also plan to take advantage of my BlogTalkRadio account (at http://blogtalkradio.com/jeffreyyung) to deliver my message.

Have you heard about the power of live events? Well, I’ve just signed up to the Master Seminar event in Chicago hosted by Ross Goldberg. Ross Goldberg has a few products out there in the forms of Traffic and Social Marketing.

I went to my first seminar back in May 17th to 18th in Atlanta, GA with Keith Wellman’s Million Dollar March live event – see my earlier posts. I love learning and this new event would be great to get to.

I love going to live events when I can.  There is nothing like meeting new friends, building new relationships and arranging joint venture deals.

I have to confess that even though I have met a few people at that last event, I didn’t do much networking. So my goal at this new one would be to take advantage of the networking night, which is Saturday the 19th, and meet as many people as I can. Really, in order to get your business started or to take it to a whole new level, you need to add influental people to your circle of connections. What better way to do that than at a seminar where everyone’s doing networking?! And they are putting an extra night just for that purpose? Nice!

The power is in meeting people face to face. 

You get a sense for who and what they are immediately without even having to talk to them.

As I have learned from Larry Bannet, the Connector, in Atlanta, just introduce yourself at these events to as many people as you possibly can. Learn what each has to offer. And offer to help in anyway shape and form. You will be amazed at the JV opportunities.

You simply can’t do that via Email…
